Hypori Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance, Solidifying Commitment to Zero Trust Security and Data Privacy

May 12, 2026, Reston, VA – Hypori, the leading secure virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI) platform, announced today the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit. This achievement represents the company’s ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards for securing customer data and protecting user privacy.
"Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance is a significant milestone in our mission to protect everything important," said Matt Stern, Chief Security Officer, Hypori. "Type 2 confirms the operational effectiveness of our controls over time. This validation provides our customers in highly regulated industries with a digestible report showcasing our proactive approach to addressing risks and fostering confidence as we grow and scale."
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 Type 2 report validates that Hypori’s internal controls—relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality—operate effectively over an extended period. The audit was conducted in partnership with Johanson Group LLP, a premier certification body, and leveraged Vanta’s trust management platform to monitor compliance continuously.
Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance strengthens Hypori’s value proposition for financial services, healthcare, and commercial enterprises. This certification provides an audited validation that sensitive data is protected by established organizational practices without ever residing on a physical device.
This certification further strengthens Hypori’s robust security posture, which includes a Provisional Authorization (PA) to operate at Impact Levels 4 and 5 (IL4 and IL5) from the DoW and DISA, as well as adherence to FedRAMP High and NIAP Common Criteria standards.
