The Challenge

CTC faced increasing pressure to meet mobile CMMC requirements. The nonprofit wanted to move away from its legacy system and did not want to have to issue costly corporate devices, because it would create user friction, require complex device management, or fail to fully protect user privacy. With a large portion of its workforce on the road or working remotely or at customer sites, CTC required a secure, compliant solution that would give them access to virtual work applications and their network while reducing security and compliance risks.

The Solution

CTC deployed Hypori's Mobile Isolation platform — a virtual mobile workspace where applications and data live entirely inside a controlled cloud environment. Nothing touches the personal device. Employees access email, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint through a virtual workspace hosted in the Hypori Government Cloud. The personal device renders pixels and relays input only. No organizational data is stored, processed, or transmitted on the device — which means personal devices fall outside the CMMC assessment boundary by architecture, not policy. IT teams have full visibility and control inside the workspace without ever touching personal device activity. Hypori rolled out with support from both CTC's security and IT teams with minimal disruption to the workforce.
