Sizing

Sizing

The following information is a hypothetical example of an AWS Hypori platform suitable for supporting 5,000 end users. This information is provided to help evaluators of Hypori understand the approximate consumption of data center infrastructure.

NOTE: Hypori Cloud and Hypori Named Cloud offerings eliminate the need for Hypori customers to host or manage cloud infrastructure.

The sizing of a Hypori platform is dependent upon several key assumptions:

  • Number of users
  • vCPU, RAM, and Storage allocations to users
  • User activity levels
  • Resource oversubscription policy

This example platform will support ~1,000 end users.

Instance Qty Purpose vCPU Disk Notes
m5.metal 2 Compute node 96 100 GB HDD, 64 GB HDD Host Hypori virtual devices
t3.large 1 TLS proxy 2 100 GB HDD, 64 GB HDD Border protection
m6i.xlarge 4 Control plane on EKS 4 25 GB HDD Allow up 10 worker nodes for auto-scaling
t3.small 1 Bastion host 2 30 GB HDD, 150 GB HDD Single point of entry accessing the cluster
t3.micro 1 Deployment host 2 10 GB HDD Single point of entry for Hypori deployment
